Quick fit checker

Seven questions. Runs in your browser — no data is transmitted anywhere.

Four-step fit path: check hardware, define privacy needs, map workflows, receive your blueprint
Is your Mac running Apple Silicon (M1, M2, M3, or M4)?
Are you running macOS 14 Sonoma or newer?
Do you have 16 GB RAM or more?

8 GB works, but local models run noticeably faster with 16 GB+.

Do you have at least 50 GB of free disk space?
Do you have admin access on your Mac?

Required to install Ollama and other local tools. Corporate-managed machines often do not allow this.

Are you comfortable following step-by-step instructions or asking a coding agent to follow them?

You do not need to code. You do need to read, type, review what is proposed, and approve actions with care.

Do you expect 1-on-1 setup support included?

Aksel is a self-serve blueprint kit. It does not include personal setup assistance or live support.

Privacy: this checker runs entirely in your browser. No answers are transmitted to any server.

Note: Passing this checker means your hardware meets the stated technical requirements. It does not guarantee that any particular setup will work correctly on your machine, that following instructions or running agent actions will be safe, or that the result will comply with your workplace policies.
